Animated short film submission for 2024 AMES FILM SHOWCASE "Artificial But Not Intelligent"

In a futuristic time with many robots built to aid humans, an old robot is re-designed and placed on sale for new purpose. A young and wealthy man  purchases the old robot and comes up with the ambitious idea to teach the robot to become a friend, not just a mindless assistant following its code. Will he be able to achieve his goal?
